Container application development on OpenShift/Kubernetes Test automation, pipeline maintenance, release facilitation, and configuration management related to container application development -Other • OpenShift Pipeline(Tekton)・Argo CD • OpenShift Developer Hub (Backstage) Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on the OpenShift platform, adhering to best practices for containerization and orchestration. Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and translate them into OpenShift-compatible solutions. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application building, testing, and deployment on OpenShift using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Tekton. Utilize OpenShift features such as Source-to-Image (S2I), Helm charts, and Operators to streamline application development and deployment processes. Troubleshoot and resolve application deployment and runtime issues on the OpenShift platform. Monitor application performance and health on OpenShift using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and implement necessary scaling or optimization strategies. Implement and maintain security best practices for applications deployed on OpenShift, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management. Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and understand their integration within the OpenShift environment. Contribute to the development of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Ansible or Terraform for provisioning and managing OpenShift resources. Stay up-to-date with the latest OpenShift features, Kubernetes advancements, and cloud-native development trends. Provide technical guidance and support to other development team members on OpenShift-related topics. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Document application deployment procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for the OpenShift environment. |
