We are looking to hire a dynamic, driven, versatile and seasoned Public Policy and Government Affairs professional with extensive network within and beyond the government agencies and regulatory bodies and a deep understanding of Japan’s political, policy and regulatory landscape in relation to local and cross－border digital payments and finance business. This role involves an extensive engagement with a broad range of government officials, regulators and policymakers, academics, partners, industry associations, multilateral and non－governmental organizations. Responsibilities includes: ● Devise and implement engagement strategies with various policymakers, government officials, regulators, academics, local trade or lobbying groups, non－governmental organizations （NGOs） and private sector organizations on developing a positive and forward－looking relationship with key stakeholders to further business needs for Ant International in Japan. ● Support Ant International’s business in Japan in its engagement and dealings with government bodies, regulators and other stakeholders in the country. ● Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop policy positioning opportunities and provide recommendations to operationalize change in policies, regulations, and/or laws that affect Ant International’s businesses in Japan. ● Tailor key messaging and represent Ant International in meetings and public events with Japan policymakers and other stakeholders. ● Collaborate with individuals and teams across multiple jurisdictions on cross－border projects. ● Respond to questions and consultations from external stakeholders on relevant policy issues where appropriate. |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ● At least 6－8 years of demonstrated experience managing public policy and/or government affairs and advocacy work in Japan● Extensive knowledge and understanding of administrative systems and political and regulatory landscape of the Japanese government and its governmental protocols ● Experience in working and engaging with policymakers, civil society, non－governmental organizations and other stakeholders ● Quick learner to understand businesses in evolving and dynamic industries such as technology, payments, e－commerce or financial technology ● Effective communication skills to lobby for governmental support and buy－in ● Strong project management skills with good attention to details ● A self－starter who is mission and goal driven and who needs minimal supervision with solid analytical skills to “think out of the box” ● A team player who inspires confidence in people and draws no boundaries in what she/he does ● Excellent command of English and Japanese （written and spoken） ● Impeccable degree of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics |
