Your ‘Day to Day’ • Develop and implement an impactful corporate communications and stakeholder relations strategy to improve the company's reputation, enhance its brand presence and influence stakeholders. • Lead and manage a team of corporate communications professionals to ensure flawless execution of all communication initiatives. • Establish and strengthen relationships with local opinion leaders and decision makers. Oversee media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with key journalists and media outlets. Influence media coverage that impact the company. • Act as the company spokesperson, representing our International in all media engagements. • Manage crisis communication efforts, responding promptly and effectively to any reputational issues. • Develop and implement a digital communications strategy including contents for owned channels and paid digital campaigns • Measure and report the effectiveness of communications and stakeholder relations programs • Provide communications counsel and support to senior executives, helping them effectively communicate their vision and messages to external audiences. • Stay informed about industry trends and developments to help the company stay ahead in communication strategies. • Manage corporate communications budget |

【必須（MUST）】 Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a global organization. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese. • Demonstrated effective leadership skills in managing and cultivating a team that consistently achieves exceptional results. • Ability to work in a fast－paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high－quality work. • Familiarity with the communications landscape in Japan is highly desirable. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Communications Director to join our team in Japan. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Corporate Communications Director will be responsible for developing and executing short－term and long term communications, public relations and stakeholder relations plan to protect and enhance the reputation of the Company. The individual will work with multiple stakeholders from Global Communications, Japan Communications teams and our President and Head of Functions to tell compelling stories on International and Japan's transformation, science and innovation, and other key themes to external stakeholders including general population, government stakeholders, scientific community and media. The ideal candidate should possess experience in driving programs using an integrated communications approach leveraging paid, owned and earned opportunities. The role is expected to tailor the communications to local context and identifying local opportunities. |
