【Position Overview】 TIER IV is the creator of Autoware, the world's leading open-source software for autonomous driving, with the mission to democratize intelligent vehicles. We work with partners worldwide to deploy safe, scalable Level 4 (L4) autonomy across a range of vehicle platforms and real-world environments. Pilot.Auto is the autonomous driving software we build on top of Autoware and ship to real vehicles. Today, getting a release from a developer's branch onto a fleet involves many teams, many hand-offs, and too much manual work. We are looking for a senior backend engineer to own this problem end-to-end: define how Pilot.Auto is versioned, built, tested, and released, and build the CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling that make every release fast, repeatable, and traceable. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who has built platform and test infrastructure for production systems and knows how to bring process and engineering together across an organization. 【Key Responsibilities】 Own the design and rollout of the internal release process for Pilot.Auto — branching and versioning strategy, release cadence, code-freeze and hotfix flows, release notes, and the go/no-go criteria for shipping to vehicles. Design, build, and operate the CI/CD pipelines that build, test, package, and publish the Pilot.Auto stack as versioned, reproducible artifacts for x86 and ARM-based in-vehicle ECUs. Build the backend services and internal tools behind the release process: artifact and image registries, release dashboards, automated release gating that pulls results from simulation, scenario-based evaluation, and driving-log regression pipelines. Raise the reliability of our test infrastructure — flaky-test detection and quarantine, test-time reduction, hermetic builds, and integration of hardware-in-the-loop and bench environments into the pipeline. Establish end-to-end traceability from requirement and code change through build, test evidence, and deployed release, in collaboration with the Safety and QA teams, so the release process supports our safety-case and change-management needs. Coordinate the release schedule and process across Perception, Planning, Control, Vehicle Integration, Field Operations, and Product; drive adoption of the new process through clear documentation, tooling, and enablement. Own the cost, performance, and security of our build and release infrastructure on AWS and GitHub, including runner fleets, caching, secrets, and access control. Mentor engineers on CI/CD and release best practices and propagate a culture of automation and observability across the AD engineering organization. 【Position Overview】 ティアフォーは、世界をリードする自動運転オープンソースソフトウェア「Autoware」の創出企業として、「自動運転の民主化」をミッションに掲げています。世界中のパートナーと連携し、多様な車両プラットフォームと実環境において、安全でスケーラブルなレベル4(L4)自動運転の実現を推進しています。 Pilot.Autoは、Autowareを基盤として当社が開発し、実車に搭載している自動運転ソフトウェアです。現在、開発者のブランチから車両フリートへリリースが届くまでには、多くのチーム・多くの引き継ぎ・多くの手作業が介在しています。本ポジションは、この課題にエンドツーエンドで責任を持つシニアバックエンドエンジニアです。Pilot.Autoのバージョニング・ビルド・テスト・リリースの方法を定義し、すべてのリリースを高速・再現可能・追跡可能にするCI/CDパイプラインと社内ツールを構築します。プロダクションシステムのプラットフォーム基盤やテスト基盤を構築してきた経験を持ち、組織横断でプロセスとエンジニアリングを結びつけられる方を求める、ハンズオンかつ高いオーナーシップを求めるポジションです。 【業務内容】 - Pilot.Autoの社内リリースプロセス（ブランチ・バージョニング戦略、リリースサイクル、コードフリーズ・ホットフィックスのフロー、リリースノート、車両への出荷可否基準）の設計と展開をリードする。 - Pilot.Autoスタックをビルド・テスト・パッケージング・公開するCI/CDパイプラインを設計・構築・運用し、x86およびARMベースの車載ECU向けにバージョン管理された再現可能なアーティファクトを提供する。 - リリースプロセスを支えるバックエンドサービスと社内ツールを構築する：アーティファクト／イメージレジストリ、リリースダッシュボード、シミュレーション・シナリオ評価・走行ログ回帰パイプラインの結果を取り込む自動リリースゲート等。 - テスト基盤の信頼性を向上させる：Flakyテストの検出と隔離、テスト時間の短縮、再現性のあるビルド、HIL・ベンチ環境のパイプラインへの統合。 - SafetyチームおよびQAチームと連携し、要件・コード変更からビルド・テストエビデンス・デプロイ済みリリースまでのエンドツーエンドのトレーサビリティを確立し、リリースプロセスがセーフティケースおよび変更管理の要求を満たすようにする。 - Perception、Planning、Control、Vehicle Integration、Field Operations、Productの各チームとリリーススケジュールとプロセスを調整し、ドキュメント・ツール・イネーブルメントを通じて新プロセスの定着を推進する。 - AWSおよびGitHub上のビルド・リリース基盤（ランナー、キャッシュ、シークレット、アクセス制御を含む）のコスト・パフォーマンス・セキュリティに責任を持つ。 - CI/CDおよびリリースのベストプラクティスについてエンジニアをメンタリングし、自動化とオブザーバビリティの文化をAD開発組織全体に浸透させる。 【従事すべき業務の内容】 - 雇入れ直後： 本求人に記載のある業務 - 変更の範囲： 上記に加え、会社が指定した業務
