仕事内容 The Japan Oncology New Product Planning Lead will drive the Japan launch of a pipeline Oncology drug. The mission will be to maximize market value and develop commercial strategies for early and mid-stage oncology assets to ensure differentiated products for the Japan market.

The core responsibilities associated with this position are to (1) plan and execute the launch readiness and launch of a new drug in Japan, in partnership with the Global Launch Team/Japan Project Team and (2) increase commercial leadership for Oncology pipeline strategies in Japan by leveraging partnerships with various global teams among Commercial/R&D/Medical.


Core Responsibilities

 Plan and Execute Launch Readiness and Launch a Pipeline Oncology Drug
・Ensure communication and alignment with the global team for synchronized launch planning and execution
・Create launch playbook and dashboard to track and communicate progress of Japan launch activities
・Form and kickoff JLT (Japan Launch Team) and develop cross-functional launch plan that outlines key requirements and timing necessary to prepare for successful launch
・Develop situational analysis, differentiation opportunities, product strategy, forecasts, tactics, and budget required to execute on launch tactics
・Gather ongoing competitive information and data and initiate market research designed to assess patient flow, market size and current treatment dynamics in Japan
・Assess value proposition in Japan to understand drivers, barriers and potential evolution of market and use findings to refine forecast inputs and positioning/messaging strategy
・Initiate ongoing ATU market research to assess product awareness, segment-specific perceptions/behaviors and stated/derived importance of key drivers for prescribing in Japan


 Increase Commercial Leadership for Oncology Pipeline Strategies in Japan
・In collaboration with Global R&D, drive development of clear and aligned commercial-influenced pipeline development strategies for Japan
・Lead initiatives to continually assess and update Japan CAs (Commercial Assessments), competitive landscapes, and market differentiation of pipeline assets; develop and communicate Japan NPP’s viewpoint on prioritization
・Pro-actively identify potential commercial opportunities, challenges, reimbursement/access issues, life cycle management strategies and risks to maximize value of oncology pipeline in Japan
・Drive comprehensive, near and long-term commercial Japan strategies by incorporating KOL advice
・Facilitate partnerships and processes with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define, develop, execute and communicate business-critical strategic initiatives
・Lead Japan NPP’s contribution to SD review and continual improvement of portfolio processes
応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

・Advanced degrees in life sciences
・Japan in-line oncology marketing experience
・Consulting or other project management experience

【歓迎(WANT)】

Outstanding cross-functional and cross-cultural relationship-building and partnering skills
Deep understanding of oncology business space with strong understanding of oncology drug development
Strong analytical, extrapolative thinking and communication skills
Fluency in Japanese (to ensure local stakeholder engagement) and proficiency in English (to ensure above country stakeholder engagement
