As such, we are building out our in-country business and engineering capability to support our current market opportunities in Tokyo and Osaka. STACK’s Senior Mechanical Engineer, Japan is a key role to manage and develop data center facilities as part of a robust and market leading Design & Engineering team. As an experienced Mechanical Engineer Professional the successful candidate will be a detailed focused, forward thinking manager who is able to be strategic and see the big picture as well as being able to dive into the technical details of the project design, procurement & Construction activities and actions. ■Key Responsibilities / Required Competencies ・データセンター事業に情熱を持つ⾰新者であること。常に最先端技術をプロジェクトに導入し、持続可能性、安全性および効率性に関する目標を達成し、さらにそれを上回ることを目指すこと。・設計管理-プロジェクトのライフサイクルを通じて、エンジニアリング設計および技術要件のあらゆる側面について、設計・エンジニアリングディレクターをサポートしながら業務を行う（東京および大阪）・検査およびコミッショニング–検査およびコミッショニングのあらゆる側面において、プロジェクトディレクターおよび設計・エンジニアリングディレクターをサポートし、コミッショニングコンサルタントを主導的かつ積極的に指導し、引き渡しプロセスを確実にリードする。・セールスエンジニアリング–日本全国におけるセールスエンジニアリングの取り組みにおいて、SVPエンジニアリングおよび設計・エンジニアリングディレクターをサポートし、顧客サイトツアー同行、顧客提出物準備、テナントのFit-out支援、エンジニアリング全般に関する業務などを行う。・⻑納期設備機器のコスト・調達・エンジニアリング-日本における調達イニシアティブ（ベンダーとの関係、技術仕様、コスト、リードタイムなど）について、SVPエンジニアリングおよび設計・エンジニアリングディレクターをサポートする。・データセンターにおける電気設計の経験が5年以上あり、そのうち少なくとも3年以上は日本における経験があること。 • Passionate about the Data Center industry and be an innovator, always looking to bring the forefront of technology into our projects to achieve and exceed our Sustainability, Safety & Efficiency goals. • Design Management- support and work with Director, Design and Engineering on all aspects of engineering design and technical requirements through the life cycle of the project (Tokyo and Osaka). • Testing and Commissioning – support the Project Director and Director, Design and Engineering with all aspects of testing and commissioning, taking a lead / active role in guiding the third-party testing and commissioning agents/consultants through the process of a successful handover. • Sales Engineering – support SVP Engineering and Director, Design and Engineering with sales engineering efforts across Japan including client site tours, client submissions, tenant fit-outs and engineering discussions. • Long Lead Equipment Cost / Procurement / Engineering – support SVP Engineering and Director,Design and Engineering with procurement initiatives in Japan – including vendor relationships,technical specification, cost and lead time. • 5+ yearsin mechanical engineering in Data Centers with at least 3 years within the Japan Market. ■Other Key Details/主要事項・出張：15%-20% ・言語：日本語、英語（ビジネスレベル–話す&書く）。 • Travel: 15%-20% • Language: Native Japanese; Secondary English (Business Level – Spoken & Written). ■Why STACK /なぜSTACKなのか・当社は、より良い福利厚生を備えた、競争力のある報酬パッケージを提供します。・当社には、仕事に対する評価と承認の文化があります。・当社は、自分たちの仕事に情熱を持ち、楽しみながら取り組んでいます。・成⻑するビジネスに参加し、インパクトを与えましょう。・STACKは従業員に対し平等に雇⽤の機会を与えます。人種、肌の色、宗教、性別、性的指向、性自認および性表現、年齢、国籍、精神的または身体的障害、遺伝情報、退役軍人の地位、または法律で保護されているその他の地位に関係なく、資格を有する全ての応募者を雇⽤の対象とします。 • We offer a competitive compensation package with strong benefits. • We have a culture of appreciation and recognition. • We are passionate about what we do and have fun doing it. • Be part of the growing business and make an impact. • STACK is an Equal Opportunity Employer. 応募資格	【必須（MUST）】・電気工学・電気エンジニアまたは関連する学士号または同等の学位。・データセンターにおけるデリバリーの経験が5年以上あり、そのうち少なくとも3年以上は日本における経験があることが望ましい。・データセンターにおける豊富な経験があり、ハイパースケール・クライアントと精通していることが望ましい。・プロジェクト・コントロール、およびプロジェクトの設計・建設両方のフェーズにおけるプロジェクト・コントロールの実務経験があること。・強いプレゼンテーション能力とコミュニケーションスキルがあること。 Must-haveQualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, orrelevant environment field. • 5+ years progressive experience in Data Center delivery, with a minimum of 3 years delivering in Japan. • Deep experience in data centers; familiarity with hyperscale clients. • Working Experience of Project Controls and Implementing Project Controls during both Design and Construction phases of projects. • Strong presentation and communication skills. 【適格人材】・慌てず冷静な方。繁雑なタイムラインの中で複数のハイレベルな優先事項をこなし、また新たな緊急のチャレンジを容易に受け入れられる方。・文化に興味を持ち、APACにおける様々なマーケットで働くことを楽しむことができる。・常に細部にまで細心の注意を払うことができ、見落としや見過ごしがない。・協調性があり、人と協力して問題を解決することを楽しむことができる。・賢く、五歩先を考え、問題を多角的にとらえることができる。単に問題を解決するだけでなく、事前に問題を回避することができる。 This might be right for you if • You don’t get flustered easily.
