We are looking for Associate, Planning/Control to join the team in Japan. Due to the expending of the business and enhancement of the role/responsibilities of the team, we have decided to hire a new junior member in the Planning / Control department. This role will be a fully new position in the team. • About Planning / Control Planning / Control team contributes to Japan's business in 7 areas. The team is covering business management and project management as Planning, and taking initiatives in Operational / Enterprise Risk Management, Investment Risk Management, Investment Compliance, Performance Analysis and BCP as the first line of control. The summary of each area will be below: <Business Management> － Support Japan country head to execute the strategic plan <Project Management> － Initiate and lead companywide projects in Japan <Operational / Enterprise Risk> － Incident / Error Management － RCSA （Risk Control Self－Assessment） － Vendor Management － SOC1 / Fund Audit <Investment Risk Management> － Risk Oversight for Japan－distributed accounts <Investment Compliance> － Guideline monitoring <Performance Analysis> － Performance measurement for hedge fund of funds － Attribution analysis for Japan－distributed accounts <BCP> － Strategy of Japan BCP ・Role Description － This Role will directly report to Japan head of Planning / Control. He / She will support senior members in the team to implement daily work as well as the companywide strategies. － As the team covers a wide range of areas, for this position, we are looking for someone who not only focuses on one area but also has a strong desire to learn and continue to challenge in new areas. － The candidate will be required to have a sense of balance between governance and efficiency to proactively support senior management and front－line departments. － As a member of the team, he/she will be required to not only work with most departments locally but also work closely with global counterparties. Thus, he/she will have the chance to practice both Japanese and English communication skills, which we believe will be a great advantage for his/her future business carriers. Also, he/she will have a chance to understand the comprehensive asset management business, which will help him/her to have a great start in the industry. － He / She does not need to cover all areas at the start but will be required in the near future, therefore, he/she should be willing to learn. ・Key Responsibilities － Support senior members in the team to implement daily BAU tasks. － Take initiatives in improving effectiveness and efficiency in BAU operations. － Join the discussion and help senior leaders to execute the Japan strategic plan. － Contribute to companywide projects. |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ・Experience－ 2＋ years of experience in the financial service industry （investment management firm, securities firm, insurance company, or bank）, finance－related technology company or a financial think tank ・Sill ＆ Knowledge － Knowledge and expertise in financial instruments including equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives － Knowledge and expertise in Risk Analysis, Portfolio management, Performance measurement － Reading comprehension in guidelines, trust Deed, and prospectus （both Japanese and English） － Extensive knowledge of investment management regulation, business practice － Knowledge and expertise in investment and fund structure （both Japan and global） － Knowledge and expertise in investment management operational flow － Knowledge and expertise in project management － Knowledge and expertise in business management or marketing － Knowledge and expertise in minutes making （both Japanese and English） － Communication skills in both Japanese and English （Equivalent level of TOEIC800＋ and native level Japanese） － Capability and skill at process enhancement － Extensive knowledge of databases （T－star, Xnet） － Knowledge and expertise in Financial Systems （Bloomberg, Factset, Barra, Charles River） － Knowledge and expertise in programming / RDD / SRD ・Qualifications － Bachelor’s degree ・PC Skills － Word, PowerPoint, Access: Advanced level － Excel: Advanced Excel function, VBA － Knowledge of databases （SQL, Snowflake etc.） － Knowledge of dashboard applications （Power BI, Tableau etc.） 【歓迎（WANT）】 ・Qualifications－ Economics, Business Administration, Law, Science, Engineering, or other business－related bachelor’s degrees preferred － Master’s degrees welcomed － CFA, CMA, and CAIA welcomed ・Competencies － Flexible and logical thinking － Strong desire to learn － Ability to finish work in a limited time and good at managing the schedule － Detail－oriented in the data validation and management － Sense of balance － Team player － Self－starter who is result－oriented and self－motivated － Mathematical literacy － IT Literacy |
