Account Executives are regarded as trusted business advisors who have deep knowledge and expertise about their customer’s business and market to drive revenue within key verticals - CPG, Retail, Financial Services, Insurance, Automotive, Life Sciences, Media and Travel & Hospitality. They will simplify and craft a compelling value proposition linked to the customer’s business goals. They need to be curious, tenacious and relationship-driven and have the ability to thrive in the Customer Data Platform’s complex and technical environment. Our Account Executives are responsible for evangelizing and selling our product by applying a thorough understanding of the prospects use cases and differentiating with a business value proposition.
An experienced AE is a resourceful salesperson who understands that customers ultimately buy business value, not cool technology. You know how to create customer value from a software platform and love the thrill of navigating customers through an ambitious business problem. You know the path to success requires selling as a team that demonstrates a myriad of resources to prove out business outcomes for our customers. You value personal accountability and clear communication and demonstrate your values by example.
・Apply a consultative sales approach throughout the sales cycle to understand the prospects’ use cases and create a business value proposal
・Qualify, Develop and manage opportunities with a high probability to drive net new revenue
・Highly responsible to own and manage your Accounts and be responsible to develop your business plan to consistently meet and exceed quota
・Develop substantial knowledge of solutions and differentiators, competitors, and industry trends
・Articulate industry-specific value propositions to address common vertical pain points. Vertical Knowledge in one or more of the following B2C verticals - CPG, Retail, Financial Services, Insurance, Automotive, Life Sciences, Media, and Travel & Hospitality
・Build trust and maintain positive relationships with top decision-makers at C-levels and at different levels across the prospect’s organization
・Provide accurate forecasts based on accurate pipeline management
・Lead and collaborate with team members and partners to effectively close business

・Experience selling complex enterprise Marketing Technology solutions within a marketing stack within the key verticals mentioned above
・Verifiable track record of achieving/exceeding sales quota
・Strong sales process and discipline ideally comfortable with value selling or other solutions sales methodologies
・Able to identify, qualify, cultivate and close deals in new accounts
・Experience working in a team selling environment
・Excellent communication, engaging presentation and negotiation skills with senior and board level clients
・Able to remain focused and drive action in a dynamic, complex environment
・Proactive, tenacious and organized approach
・High Emotional Intelligence
・BA degree, or equivalent
