| 仕事内容 | We are looking for a highly motivated individual to accelerate our vehicle-level testing for autonomous vehicles. The ADAS Test Engineer will help drive out Autopilot by testing daily. Autopilot firmware updates and ensure regulatory compliance of the vehicle in local markets. The role requires someone who is highly organized, objectively focused when making judgments, and confidence in their ability to manage projects along a very fluid schedule. This full-time role requires the flexibility of traveling to various domestic and international destinations as necessary, to test vehicles on public roads, test tracks and Proving Grounds. |
| 労働条件 |
・Design, develop and validate our test procedures in the areas of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. ・Work with internal engineering teams and external governing agencies to develop and validate vehicle performance. ・Survey the local region, design test specs and create judgement criteria with regards to interesting scenarios for Autopilot testing. ・Execute real-world testing against designed test specifications, as well as providing ad-hoc support for specifically requested scenarios. ・Triage, analyze and track regional Autopilot performance, depending on the root causes, work with local Service/Service Engineering or Software QA team on issue escalation. ・Analyze data collected during testing to determine if the vehicle meets federal and internal requirements and make recommendations to the internal design teams based on findings. ・Maintain and document test vehicle condition, coordinate repairs/retrofits as needed. ・Support any other vehicle engineering testing as needed. |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ・Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent higher education required.・Experience in vehicle road testing experience specifically related to Vehicle Dynamics or Autonomous Vehicles. ・Clean driving record and safe driving habits. ・Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB or Python (preferred). ・Excellent attention to detail and highly observational. ・Excellent written and spoken Japanese and English. ・Must be comfortable driving prototype vehicles during testing that may lack safety features or contain safety risks. ・Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment. ・The role requires test drive in public roads so we are looking for someone who can drive with clean driving record. |
