You’ll play a vital part in our success, developing, designing, and implementing innovative warehouse solutions, which bring standardisation, visibility, and actionability to our customer’s supply chains. 【Job Scope】 The Senior Manager - IT manages the overall IT Department practices and provides IT Systems oversight. This person should be technically strong and have led a team before and experiences with TMS or WMS would be mandatory. He/She will have to lead a team of 8 persons. 【Key responsibilities and accountabilities】 ・To lead/manage the IT team supporting all operations for we Japan; this includes team management, applications, infrastructure, budgeting, and procurement. ・To lead/manage all aspects of applications and related technologies for the logistics business applying the global supply chain management suite of products (WMS, TMS, OMS, etc) ・Perform as a strategic business partner and provide quality IT advisory services to internal and external customers and translate business requirement into quality solutions to improve business process ・To be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the representative of application(s) to the logistics business enabling the effective delivery of business required solutions in the above areas. This includes both applications as well as infrastructure services. ・To communicate with business leaders, vendors and colleagues in understanding current & future business needs, operational challenges and new business pipelines and manage IT resources / business expectations accordingly ・To effectively collaborate with colleagues in the Company, ensuring goals, deliverables and technologies are aligned across the group, and effectively integrated based on the business needs ・Manage the IT budget, including MPC/Non-MPC and procurement. ・To provide support for business development initiatives including solutioning, presentation and RFP responses. ・Support new account, facility, site implementations and process improvements for any customer. ・Lead solutions design sessions with customers (internal and external) ・Provide input on solutions design and play an active role in the design session ・Perform ad hoc projects as and when required ・Management responsibility for daily IT operations & system support including PC setup, software installation, IT system maintenance & troubleshooting, report development etc |

【歓迎（WANT）】 Job Requirements:University degree holder in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering or related discipline. Master’s in business administration (MBA) is highly preferred 10 years solid IT technical experience in functional / technical architecture design of ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), TMS, or Supply Chain System, etc. At least 5 years of team leading experience; multi-national / regional work experience in logistics experience is highly advantageous. E-com knowledge and experience desirable. Strong abilities to liaise, co-operate and work with all levels of internal customers Well-rounded project experience in a service delivery environment; ideally spanning across strategy, product / service offering, operation, and IT related projects within quality and budget Strong leadership, influencing, inter-personal, coordination, people management skills to lead project teams in delivering projects Knowledge or experience with Project Management methodologies an advantage eg Agile; Waterfall; Scrum; PRINCE2 Knowledge in LAN/WAN installation, administration, and troubleshooting. Knowledge in MS SQL, Oracle DB etc. Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese |
