Job Description Hiring Manager: Head of Global Security Department Job Title: Information Security Officer Department: Global Security Department Report Line: Head of Global Security Department Position Purpose / 職務の目的 You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring various Information Security, IT business continuity, Personal information protections measures based on group requirements and Japan regulatory requirements working under the Global Security Department in Japan. Responsibilities / 職務の責任 DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES You will directly handle various information security, IT business continuity, and personal information protection related requirements under Global security Department working with other team members You will work with regional and global security officers to ensure that Japan meets all the regional and global requirements timely You will work with Japan IT and business teams to ensure that their requirements from Global Security and Japan regulatory requirements are met timely You will work proactively to ensure that there are no internal, external audit findings and incidents as much as possible. You will work with internal and external auditors as needed You will prepare various periodic reports CONTRIBUTING RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Japan Global Security head in new initiatives, process improvements, and efficiency improvements Participate in global initiates, especially for process changes and efficiency improvements. Business Knowledge / 求められるビジネス知識 You will have good understanding（can you elaborate the level?） and experience of Information security/cyber, IT business continuity, and personal information protection best practices You will have good understanding （can you elaborate the level?）of Insurance applications and business practices Fundamental insurance business knowledge in Japan Technical Experience / Competencies / 求められる技術的経験・コンピテンシー More than 3 years of experience in implementing security controls and monitoring the same in financial industry Good understanding （what is the competency?）of TCP/IP, security products, solutions, and best practices Experience in handling security incidents and working under pressure to resolve issues and minimize impact. Ability to articulate risk to technical people and non－technical people and get buy－in quickly for implementing right solutions. Behavioral Competencies /職務上で求められる姿勢やコンピテンシー Ability to communicate clearly but strongly without offending others to get buy－in on ideas quickly Ability to manage juniors and vendor staff without putting unnecessary pressure Ability to multi task and work under pressure Ability to negotiate, prioritize, and get approval for the updated plans.
