We believe in creating a healthy, learning environment for our employees to flourish. ■業務概要 日本におけるMEP依存度の高い設備投資案件の設計管理と納品をサポートするメカニカル／エレクトリカルサービスエンジニアを募集しています。 日本のリージョナルエンジニアリングデザインマネージャーのもとで、新規建設、段階的拡張、改修、アップグレード、機械／電気機器の選定、規格アップグレードなどのデータセンタープロジェクトを成功させるために、外部のコンサルタントや契約業者を管理し、DCSグローバルスタンダードとの整合性を確保しながら、設計を提供するリーダーとしての役割を担って頂きます。 営業からの依頼をサポートし、顧客と連携して特定のプロジェクトの設計要件を策定します。また、他のエンジニアリング建設（PM／CM／業務）チームや関係者と連携／協力し、必要に応じてサポートを提供いただきます。 プロジェクトチームとコミュニケーションをとり、プロジェクトを通して主要なステークホルダーに対して、正確で信頼できる書面または口頭での進捗報告を行っていただきます。 ミッションクリティカルなデータセンター業界、またはその他の高セキュリティな業界における技術的専門知識と長年の経験により、リーダーシップと技術的指導を提供し、同僚、ビジネスパートナー、顧客からの信頼を勝ち得ます。 □MISSION We are seeking a Mechanical / Electrical Services Engineer to support design management and delivery of capital expenditure projects with a high dependence on MEP in Japan. Reporting to the Regional Engineering Design Manager – Japan, you will play a leading role in the delivery of design, managing external consultants and contractors to meet programme, design and other requirements for the successful delivery of data center projects including new construction, phased expansion, retrofits and upgrades, mechanical and electrical equipment selections, and standards upgrades in Japan, ensuring alignment with our DCS global standards. You will support Sales requests and liaise with customers to develop specific project design requirements, as well as liaise and collaborate with other our engineering construction (PM/CM/Commercial) and Operations teams and stakeholders, providing support as and when required. You will communicate with the project team and provide accurate and confident written and verbal progress reports to key stakeholders throughout the project. Your technical expertise and years of experience in the mission-critical data centre industry, or other high-security industry, will enable you to provide leadership and technical guidance and allow you to gain the confidence of our colleagues, business partners and customers. ■業務詳細 ・設計概要の作成、外部設計コンサルタントの採用／管理、設計ワークショップの運営を行い、設計概要の要件、サイト固有の条件、インフラ設計、コスト、重要インフラプロジェクトの技術的ソリューションの実装における地方自治体との連絡などを満たす設計を提供 ・DCSに提出された設計提案、仕様書、マニュアル、その他のデータをBIM 360プラットフォーム上で分析、レビュー、承認し、設計やアプリケーションの実現可能性、コスト、メンテナンス要件を評価して、当社のグローバル設計基準に沿った規制準拠、コスト効率、耐障害性の高いインフラストラクチャを実現 ・DCSが、先駆的なデータセンター設計、低PUE、グローバルリファレンスデザイン（GRD）の「将来性」によって市場をリードし続け、持続可能性と環境目標を達成するために、市場で入手可能で日本に適した最新の技術、エンジニアリング手法、エンジニアリングツールについてチームに助言 ・シニアスタッフからの指示のもと、設計上の決定を促進するための分析を行い、必要な規格や国ごとの規制を適用して最適な設計を選択できるようサポート ・設計、エンジニアリング、建設を含む業務のあらゆる側面で商業的アプローチを適用し、他のエンジニアリング部門、調達、納入と協力して、すべてのアイテムの調達が最もコスト効率の良い方法で行われるようにし、初期コストだけでなく総所有コストを考慮してコスト削減を推進 ・DCSと顧客の要求に従ってテストとコミッショニングプロセスが指定されていることを確認する。工場受入テスト（FAT）、サイト受入テスト（SAT）、統合システムテスト（IST）の責任を確認し、DCS設計T&Cポリシーに従ってDCS T&Cプログラムが実施され、管理されていることを確認 ・ゼネコンとの複雑な議論を管理し、DCSの立場（技術、商業、デリバリー）を推進／代表し、マイルストーンと完成日が守られ、クライアントへの引き渡しが予定通りに行われ、すべてのプロジェクト文書と内部ガバナンスの承認が詳細かつタイムリーに完了し、プロジェクトが完全に文書化されてクローズアウトされることを確認 □OUTCOMES Your main activities as Senior Design Engineer will be: ・Produce design briefs, engage & manage external design consultants, run design workshops to ensure they deliver a design to meet the requirements of the design brief, site specific conditions, infrastructure design, costs and liaison with local authorities in implementing the technical solutions for critical infrastructure projects. ・Analyse, review and approve design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data submitted for our DCS review on BIM 360 Platform and evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or application to achieve regulatory compliant, cost effective and resilient infrastructures in line with our Global design standards. ・Advise our team on the very latest technologies, engineering methods and engineering tooling that are available on the market and appropriate to Japan to ensure that our DCS remains the market leader with pioneering data centre design, low PUE, and ‘future proofing’ of our Global Reference design (GRD) to meet our sustainability and environmental targets. ・Provide analysis to facilitate design decisions under direction from more senior staff and support in applying the required standards and country specific regulations to make the best design choices. ・Apply a commercial approach in all aspects of the work including design, engineering and construction, working with other engineering functions, Procurement and Delivery to ensure that the procurement of all items is conducted on the most cost-effective basis to drive reduction in costs, considering not just initial costs but total cost of ownership. ・Ensure that testing & commissioning processes are being specified as per DCS and customer requirements confirm responsibility for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Integrated System Testing (IST) and our DCS T&C programme is being implemented and managed in accordance to DCS Design T&C policy. ・Manage complex discussions with General Contractors, driving and representing our DCS position (technical, commercial and delivery) to ensure milestones and completion dates are met with successful handover to the client on time and that all project documentation and internal governance approvals are completed in a detailed and timely fashion and projects are fully documented and closed out. ■チームについて 私たちは、ステークホルダーの皆様からの強い支持と投資に支えられながら、同時に独立した事業体となる重要な転換点に立っています。 アジアと欧州で拠点を拡大しているため、不動産や インフラへの投資と活用により、現在の拠点の拡大や新拠点の開発が可能となります。 ダイナミックで機敏、かつ前向きなチームの一員として、ビジネスの大幅な成長を目指していただきます。 □THE TEAM We are at a critical turning point as we become an independently focused business and at the same time, supported with the strong backing and investment of Fidelity. 【必須（MUST）】 ■スキル＆経験・電気工学または機械工学の学位を有し、電気設計または機械設計の分野で5～10年の実務経験があり、データセンターの設計業務に従事した経験があり、複数の分野にまたがるプロジェクトデリバリーの実績がある方 ・強力な設計管理能力、HVACおよび電気システムの設計と技術原則に関する実務知識、MEP基幹システム、BMS/EPMSシステムのあらゆる側面に関する強力なバックグラウンド、すべてのエンジニアリング分野にわたって協調的に仕事をする能力をお持ちの方 ・設計管理プロセス、設計コンサルタントの選任、日本におけるコスト管理、正式な変更管理プロセス、契約、建設慣行に関する優れた実務知識をお持ちの方 ・細部にこだわり、問題解決に積極的に取り組み、強い組織力を持ち、自発性を発揮して、プレッシャーの中でも正確に仕事をこなし、少ない指示で優れた成果を上げることができるセルフスターターな方 ・日本語と英語による優れた口頭および書面でのコミュニケーション能力、強力な時間管理能力、優れたステークホルダー／顧客管理能力、人材管理能力を有し、透明性と誠実さにこだわる方 ・チームワークの文化と継続的な改善への情熱を共有し、エンジニアリング＆デリバリーのアジェンダを推進するために、他のすべての部門と積極的かつエネルギッシュに協働できる方 ・主体性を発揮し、プレッシャーの中で正確に仕事をすることができる方 ・チームワークを重視し、グローバルなマトリックスの中で、オープンな経営スタイルと組織で活動できる方 ・他の部門と積極的に関わり、"One Team "のビジョンを完全に受け入れることができる方 ・必要に応じて、日本国内および海外のプロジェクトサイトや既存施設を訪問するため、短期間の出張が可能な方 □THE SKILLS / EXPERTISE YOU BRING ・A degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering / Eligibility for professional accreditation with 5 ~ 10 years of professional experience in Electrical or Mechanical Design Engineering with a proven track record in multi-disciplinary project delivery from previous experience of working in a data centre design role. ・Strong design management skills, a working knowledge of the design and technical principles of HVAC and Electrical systems, a strong background in all aspects of MEP mission critical systems, BMS/EPMS systems, and the ability to work in a collaborative way across all engineering disciplines. ・Excellent working knowledge of design management processes, design consultant appointments, experience with cost control and formal change management processes, contracts and construction practices in Japan. ・This person shall be detail-oriented with a proactive focus on problem solving, possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate initiative and the ability to work accurately under pressure and be a self-starter that can excel with little direction. ・Excellent communication skills verbally and written in Japanese and good in English, strong time management skills, and excellent stakeholder / customer management and people management skills, with a commitment to transparency and integrity. ・You will share in a culture of teamwork and passion for continuous improvement to work with all other functions in a proactive and energetic way to promote the Engineering & Delivery agenda. Must be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to work accurately under pressure. Must be able to operate in an open management style and structure with an emphasis on team working and within a global matrix.
