仕事内容 The Clinical Development Strategy Planning lead is accountable for execution of the Clinical Development organization improvement activities with CD Leadership Team (CDLT) and other CD or non-CD members. Manage scopes of functional or cross-functional works such as TA strategy development, CD or CD-driven cross-functional initiative timeline, CD department budget / resource. The role will be expected for identifying Clinical Development Organization related business opportunities and risks and setting overall direction to meet the future capabilities and strategic needs. Collaborative work approaches with CD head or CDLT is expected for designing CD or CD-related work initiatives. Also responsible for CD-related communication work and collaboration with R&D Japan S&O team


Role Description:

・Leads the execution of the functional strategy framework with CDLT and/or other members
・Collaborates the design building of the strategic framework with CDLT and/or other members
・Executes key initiatives to deliver short and long term goals and objectives
・Leads intra-CD or cross-functional process improvement
・Manage scopes of functional or cross-functional works such as TA strategy development, CD or CD-driven cross-functional initiative timeline, CD department budget / resource
・Leads CD communication activities such as CD meetings, digital messages, and others
・Design and Manage CD-related data system such as SharePoint, tableau, etc.
・Directly or indirectly manage CD contractors to keep appropriate services
・Researching, benchmarking, analyzing data, and making recommendations.
・Collaborates with Japan or Global S&O for building and execute Japan R&D or CD initiatives
応募資格

Required capabilities:

・Ability to interpret data and phenomena to information and action plans to improve performance
・Ability to deliver the results under the ambiguity or complexity
・Ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization
・Ability to respond flexibly to the changing project/task priorities and work assignments.
・Ability to influence and negotiate without specific authority.
・Ability to take a risk and to manage it without jeopardizing quality and/or compliance
・Ability to build a forecast and action plan based on the organization vision
・Acts to makes a balance between short-term performance and long-term vision.

Required Knowledge / Experiences:

・Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, act as a change agent, and adapt to rapidly changing organizational and business issues
・Experience to assure business compliance and control within the compliance obligations, Sarbanes Oxley and other audit requirements
・Strong English & Japanese communication skills
・Strong analytical skills with high IT literacy in Excel, Power Points, and database
・Broad and in-depth understanding of domestic and international issues relative to the Clinical Development industry
