仕事内容 High Level Summary:

The Japan Early Development Strategy lead is accountable for shaping a high-level Japan early development strategy and for building cross asset or cross-TA communication with global counterparts. The role will be expected for sharing Japan early development strategy in discussion with global colleagues and building a reasonable alignment with global and Japan. Collaborative work approaches with CD head or CDLT or development leader is expected for local project initiation and global project entry to keep a reasonable and consistent work approach. Also lead and triage the local translational medicine work (collaborate with Global functions and local development team)

Role Description:

Lead cross-asset or cross-TA communication to / with Global early development functions
・Share Japan early development strategy in discussion with global counterparts
・Build a reasonable alignment with global and Japan
Shape cross-asset or cross-TA early development scenario or strategy with Japan Clinical Development functions or other local functions
・Run the comparison analysis global and Japan early development approach
・Run the early development review discussion with Japan Clinical Development or other functions
Support local development teams to build their project entry strategy under the local cross-asset and cross TA standpoint
・Collaborate with CD functions to keep a reasonable and consistent project entry
Develop high-level strategy building processes with internal stakeholders (includes task force team leading regarding early phase related)
・Work collaboration with Japan Clinical TA department and Japan Clinical Pharmacology department
・Lead and triage the local translational medicine work (collaborate with Global functions & local team)

【必須(MUST)】

Required Capability:

・Ability to interpret data & phenomena to information and action plans to improve performance
・Ability to deliver the results under the ambiguity or complexity
・Ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization
・Ability for proactive proposal building and proactive action takings without detailed instructions
・Ability to respond flexibly to the changing project/task priorities and work assignments.
・Ability to influence and negotiate without specific authority.
・Ability to take a risk and to manage it without jeopardizing quality and/or compliance
・Ability to build a forecast and action plan based on the organization vision
・Acts to makes a balance between short-term performance and long-term vision.

Required Knowledge / Experiences:

・Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, act as a change agent, and adapt to rapidly changing organizational and business issues
・Strong analytical skills with high IT literacy in Excel, Power Points, and database
・Broad and in-depth understanding of domestic and international issues relative to the industry
・Experience to assure business compliance and control within the compliance obligations, Sarbanes Oxley and other audit requirements
Strong English & Japanese communication skills
・At least 5~10 years work experience in clinical development or clinical pharmacology area
・Experience of managing or leading global or multi-country project
Preferred:

・Ph.D. or / and MD level science capability is highly preferred
