As the previous technical director decided to build his own company, we are looking for a new leader to keep growing our business in Japan and keep transforming the technical team, along the execution of major projects with our key customers.
■About the Department / Team / Working style
Our technical team is a large team composed of 35+ individual. The team is quite diversified in term of nationality.
Some initiatives have also been put in place to increase the number of junior engineers, to prepare the future.
■After joining the company / Career path
This position is a senior technical role. The natural evolution in Japan is to take the leadership of our sales organization.
Another path can be to take a technical management for our products at the APAC or WW level.

Our technical director is in charge of developing the team knowledge and know-how to support the revenue growth.
In particular, he will lead the following topics:
- Define the 3 years “What to sell” (solution to market/sell) in alignment with the revenue ambitions
- Define the required capacity and skills (internal and external)
- Define and execute the enablement plan with partners
- Develop our image in the simulation domain through marketing events
- Engage key customer executives
- Put in place a structured capitalization model
On top of these items, Our Technical Director will inspire and lead the continuous transformation of a large team (over 35 members) to acquire new skills and know-how.
|労働条件||Location: Tokyo, Osaki office (Nagoya or Osaka offices are also possible)|
We are looking for a dynamic experienced manager with a strong leadership to drive the growth of our business in Japan.
The candidate should be driven by the performance of the team, and willing to transform the team to acquire new knowledge and know-how.
Ideally the candidate should be recognized in the simulation field by his peers in the university or private sector.
Experience in the manufacturing industry / simulation domain is also a important feature.
