Band Details: Job Level 6A Unit: Health, Insurance & Life Sciences Role Designation: Lead – Client Operations & Services Location: Sapporo, Japan Experience: Graduate or Post-graduate with 10 or more years of experience in managing Insurance and Pensions operations. Knowledgeable in Individual and Group Life and Pensions business. Must have managed a diverse team across various functions such as New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims and Payment Distributions. Must have managed a distributed team of 100 or more people. Experience in client stakeholder management, leading periodic governance and hands-on approach to analyzing and reporting of operational performance. Any insurance certification is desirable. Job Responsibilities: • Day to day oversight of operations • Review operational performance periodically with the team leads and managers • Periodically review for contractual compliance • Participate and support in Internal and External Quality and Compliance audits • Prepare client reporting packs and lead key stakeholder meetings • Monitor monthly profit and loss statements for the engagement and ensure deviations are addressed in a timely manner • Coordinate and escalate in a timely manner to secure required approvals • Anticipate, manage and control attrition • Ensures that client satisfaction targets for the engagement are met as per organizational standards • Engage with the teams to maintain motivation level, address challenges and ensure staff’s concerns are address in a timely fashion • Engage proactively with client stakeholders to understand the pulse of relationship, J |
