Role: Medicinal Chemist Tokyo, JAPAN 【COMPANY INTRODUCTION】 Leading Drug Discovery company with one of the most unique technology. Closely working with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, academia and other external parties and they also have in－house 【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】 － As a medicinal chemist, you will be involved in the selection of drug targets, compound design and synthesis at CRO, and implementation of joint drug discovery projects with external parties in the creation of new drug candidate compounds using the novel drug discovery synthesis technology. － Involvement in the selection of drug targets from the viewpoint of a medicinal chemist. Research information necessary for this （e.g., publications, patents, etc.） － Research information necessary for this （papers, patents, etc.） Contract synthesis of designed compounds to CROs （mainly overseas CROs） － Participate in out－licensing activities of new drug candidate compounds as a medicinal chemist － Leading collaborative drug discovery projects with external parties. 【REQUIREMENTS】 － Experience in synthetic research in drug discovery （at a pharmaceutical company） － Experience in research and development of reagents － Flexible and able to tackle anything. |
