【ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES】

Strategy & Planning:

Understanding of the entire workflow and operating process, GAP analysis and requirements gathering for process/system enhancement are primary focus for business process improvement.
Work closely with domestic stakeholders to identify the opportunities to optimize the processes and systems. This requires basic IT knowledge especially for software (SFDC/SAP and other ERP, BI tools, Apps etc), and also requires skills for Process Engineering.
Collaborate with IT staffs and business folks in JAPAN/APAC/Israel/Global/Treat to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems in order to fulfill business objectives and processes in Japan.
Propose and create system design models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction for further improvement and optimization.
Liaison with other departments to provide updates on current mutual topics/issues, participate in problem solving and development of mutual solutions and improvements
Participating as a member in various IT or cross-departmental projects.

Operational Management:

Manage business process reengineering, IT related projects and cross functional taskforces in entire organization.
Manage the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems/services/IT infrastructures; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems/services/infrastructures together with local IT Infrastructure team.
Providing administrative support and deployment of applications and tools if necessary.
In case of system issue, responsible for efficient troubleshooting of software and resolution of issues related to systems and services provided by IT Infrastructure Services and Apps team through effective communication and collaboration with respective team members, including vendors/suppliers and service providers.
Provide orientation and training to internal software users for modified and new systems, services and apps. Additional duties and responsibilities might be applied.
Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required

【QUALIFICATIONS】

Technical skills:
The following skills are required:

Business process optimization/reengineering is must.
Experience in Lean Six Sigma projects management and preferably in Toyota Lean ways of working.
Knowledge and experience in the role of a Project Management Office and/or Business Analyst.
Experience in Managing and Working in Multifunctional Commercial Business Teams.
Ability to deliver cross-functional commercial excellence projects and deal with complex problems involving interdepartmental variables.
Ability to communicate effectively at manager level and below in situations requiring instructing, persuading, negotiating, conflict resolution, consulting and advising, as well as flawless written communication.
Ability to train, coach, analyze/design business process and prioritize requirements for project management of commercial excellence improvement projects. 
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience and Knowledge of SAP, SFDC, Minitab, Microsoft Office and Project Is Strongly Preferred.
Demonstrate Align Technology values – Adaptability, Trust, Excellence, Accountability, Mutual Respect.

 

The following skills would be considered a plus and added advantage:

Familiarity with BABOK for Business Requirement Analysis and Management.
Familiarity with Business Process Management and Notation.
Experience with SQL.

Excellent organizational skills and documentation skills.
Ability to understand customers and their requirement.

【EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE】
Minimum of 5 years or more relevant full time work experience, where having worked in an international environment would be a plus (with special emphasis on working with U.S. companies).
Business process reengineering or IT-related degree or equivalent work experience.

 

【LANGUAGE SKILLS:】
Strong written and oral communication
Fluent Japanese in reading, writing, and conversation; English in reading and writing (Conversational English also welcomed).

 

【PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT】

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear in the office. Under COVID-19, the employee is occasionally required to connect with remote employee to train, to educate and discuss with them how to improve the process and system.
