The APJ Human Experience Management Value Advisory (HXM VA) team spans Asia-Pacific and Japan and is responsible for helping companies transform their business. We collaborate with our customers to develop justifications for HXM technology investments by aligning strategic imperatives to business outcomes and the solutions that enable them, building business cases, and developing strategic roadmaps.

Members of this team are seasoned HR and technology specialists who drive thought leadership, demand generation and sales execution. They often represent our company externally and internally on HR, innovation and value management topics. Their ultimate goal is to ensure current and potential customers understand the power and value of our suite of HXM solutions.

HXM VAs are recognized as experts in multiple areas of HR Operations, HR Strategy and HR Technology, while also being savvy business strategists with a commercial mindset. HXM Value Advisors help shape the value proposition and sales strategy during pre-sales discussions.

Customer engagement and sales support
•Conduct strategic customer discovery (interviews, meetings, surveys) to uncover challenges and opportunities
•Build knowledge in the sales pursuit team regarding the prospect’s business strategy, industry trends, workforce challenges and key messages to position us against the competition
•Compose and deliver simple and compelling presentations communicating the value of our solutions and justification for change to executive- or board-level audiences
•Provide proof points, case studies and potential benefits to support the investment in our HXM solutions. This may include quantified analysis of potential benefits using our benchmarking and business case tools
•Advise prospects and customers on how best to commence, execute and measure HR transformation to ensure success
•Bring an innovative and creative lens to customer conversations, e.g. storytelling, Design Thinking, surveys, etc. to excite customers and ignite trusted relationships

Demand generation
•Partner with field sales teams to identify revenue opportunities, create account strategies, and execute sales plays
•Understand customer needs, map business strategy to people strategy, determine win themes and key messages and support sales executives in building the overall deal strategy
•Establish and sustain relationships with senior HR leaders at large companies
•Collaborate with Marketing to lead or participate in our-owned and also external events.

Thought leadership
•Build individual and our brand by regularly publishing content (e.g. social media posts, white papers, blogs) and speaking at public events (e.g. conferences, webinars)
•Stay aware and up to date with HR and technology trends. Maintain awareness of competitor strategies and overall our positioning beyond our SF cloud HXM to ensure alignment and best competitive stance
•Infuse Value DNA across us through strategic practice development activities, knowledge sharing, coaching and strategic go-to-market initiatives

Required skills
•Excellent analytical ability. Understands how to analyse corporate strategy and financial/operational results and draw conclusions about business health and opportunities
•Excellent executive presentation skills with a strong emphasis on synthesis, storytelling and simply representing complex scenarios to diverse audiences
•Team player with ability to bring cross-functional teams together for common goals
•Ability to bring creative ideas and solutions to solve complex business challenges
•Flexibility, able to remain positive in challenging situations, adjust, adapt and welcome new alternatives while holding strong to core values and commitments
•Bachelor degree or equivalent
•Business level English skills

• 10+ years’ experience with some combination of:
o Being part of or leading HR function
o Being part of or leading an HRIT team
o HR consulting or value management experience (strategy and/or
technology implementation)
o Technology sales experience
o Implementing, selling or working with cloud technology
• Post-sales or technology implementation experience would be very


Preferred skills
• MBA or equivalent degree/skills
• Experience partnering with complex sales organizations
• Knowledge of consultative/value-based selling approaches and
quantitative methods
• Thought leadership experience, e.g. blogs, white papers
• Engagement management and facilitation skills, knowledge of Design
Thinking or similar methods a strong plus
• Any other language an asset;
