Our company is a market leading provider of infrastructure and software solutions to the energy industry. Our Energy Portfolio Management （EPM） business unit provides software, consulting and intelligence solutions to help energy industry customers carry out critical business functions like planning, simulation and forecasting, as well as commercial operations of their assets.
The Presales Consultant will become highly proficient in EPM’s analytic software and market analysis solutions and be an expert at communicating and demonstrating their value proposition to prospective customers. The solutions include:
－market analysis solutions: power market modelling and simulation, advisory, data and outlook reports
－power generation portfolio optimization
The Presales Consultant will work extensively with the marketing, sales and EPM teams to increase customer base and maintain the existing customer base in the APAC region.
Main accountabilities of the role involve:
・Be highly proficient in EPM analytic software and market analysis solutions, and the primary presales expert in APAC region.
・Review and develop understanding of customer requirements and clearly communicate the capability of our solutions to fulfil the requirements and add further value to the customer’s business.
・Research competitors and develop/maintain list of key differentiators, strengths and weakness. Communicate solution enhancement requests to developers.
・Develop knowledge and remain informed on APAC electricity and fuel markets, economic and technology trends, industry practices, regional developments and/or subject matter developments. Provide industry and market expertise that assists in selling products and services.
・Continually find ways of improving presentations and demonstrations to better communicate the value proposition to customers. This may include learning new tools and practices.
・Cooperate and communicate effectively with the regional and wider teams to provide relevant information, assistance and technical support.
・Contribute to sales and marketing activities including, researching events to participate in, development of webcasts, material, thought leadership, client and conference presentations, etc.
This is a consultant level role, and the candidate will have been educated to at least degree level in an analytical subject and will have experience in business analysis / consulting / project management / pre－sales in customer－focused roles. They will be able to demonstrate how their efforts have directly resulted in client success. The role may require being based on client site and international travel.
【必須（MUST）】■Knowledge and Experience
・Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Operational Research or related quantitative subject.
・Energy markets, generation operations, analytics, math modelling or consulting experience.

・Well organized and communicate clearly and convincingly with both clients and internal stakeholders.
・Ability to create convincing client presentations and proposals and address larger audiences describing complex topics in an easy to understand manner.
・Comfortable engaging convincingly with clients and capable of interacting productively at operational levels.
