We are looking for an experienced marketing leader to lead our team in Japan. In this role you would be responsible for leading a team of marketing experts and setting a marketing strategy for the region which incorporates all aspects of marketing planning and communications including managing marketing budget, developing right channel mix, digital channels, developing events sponsorships, creating marketing collateral and more. You will be accountable for the regional marketing budget and ensure we deliver the most effective messaging while at the same time, ensuring complete coverage of this large and diverse region. You will be continuing to build a highly effective and diverse marketing team, and bring with you industry relationships that can help further the impact and value of our marketing.
You need to be comfortable with small agile teams, ambiguity and origination. This is a key role for Japan, so tight collaboration with sales leadership and industry within the region is desirable.
This role reports into our Director of Global Customer Marketing for APAC and is located in our Japan Office.
－Lead a team of marketers and agencies
－Partner with cross functional leaders to develop the optimal marketing plans for business audience in Japan across our family of －brands, particularly our product
－Develop and execute marketing strategy and programs to meet business objectives in the Japan
－Partner with the local consumer and PR leadership team on aligning marketing strategies with business plans
－Develop holistic performance marketing programs including but not limited to brand, program management and lifecycle management.
－Work with the cross functional teams to land global as well as regional specific marketing programs
－Proven ability to optimize marketing mix by analysing performance of campaigns and programs and align marketing budgets to the biggest impact activities.
－Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company
－Serve as a thought leader across the business teams at Japan office
－Passion for performance marketing and creating exceptional business value through engaging and innovative marketing approaches
－Be part of the APAC Global customer marketing leadership team
【必須（MUST）】－15＋ years of experience in a B2B and B2C marketing leadership role in Japan
－Strong digital marketing experience
－Strong people management capabilities and stakeholder management
－Proven experience of successfully working in a matrix organization
－Proven experience leading successful teams, preferably in tech or media companies
－Deep knowledge of the advertising and marketing industries in Japan
－Expert in operational efficiency through automation of tools and processes
－Strong executive presence and a track record of working well in cross functional teams
－Verbal and written fluence in Japanese
