The Business Ops ＆ FP＆A role represents a great opportunity to gain experience and make an impact in many aspects for the growing Tokyo office. The person will oversee the financial planning, sales and operations and deal desk functions for the initial stages of the company. The person will also look over other department functions as required, including, but not limited to, HR, legal and other corporate matters. The person will be reporting to the Country Manager.
•Performing monthly, quarterly and annual planning process
•Monitoring and working closely with the bookkeeping team and vendor
•Reviewing and implementing work procedures within the department
•Preparing various analyses and assist in any special ad－ hoc projects or other projects as assigned
•Support the Country Manager in preparing quarterly board meeting materials and weekly pipeline analyses
•Work closely with the Tokyo office team members to identify and prioritize areas of operational improvements and strategy to improve customer expansion, retention, and efficiency.
•Interpret performance metrics across the customer lifecycle and identify gaps in processes and systems. Partner with leadership across multiple teams to propose and implement solutions.
•Oversee the roadmap of Account Management systems and tools.
•Create compensation structures, including our stock option allocation plans
•Booking and processing the deals according to the company process and policies
•Ensure that sales proposals follow established corporate strategies and present a solid understanding of product offerings
•Manage the daily quote and pricing approvals processes, ensuring compliance with published sales and business approval policies and assist Sales with drafting and delivering order forms.
•Read and interpret commercial agreement language to ensure transactions comply with revenue recognition and business operational policies
•Maintain an agreed upon Service level agreement （SLA） on deal turnaround times
•Review proposals/quotes and provide Sales with deal structure and pricing guidance to increase profitability, meet strategic corporate goals, and accelerate deal closure
【必須（MUST）】•5＋ years of experience in FP＆A
•Experience from a similar position in a global high－tech company
•Preferable knowledge and experience in US－GAAP
•Strong knowledge in high－tech industry
•Strong knowledge and experience in Japanese regulatory environment
•Strong Microsoft Excel skills
•Experience with NetSuite – advantage
•Highly motivated and committed, detail－oriented, provides high quality results
•Able to work in a fast－paced environment, to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
•High level of independence with strong interpersonal and bilingual communication skills － written and verbal （Japanese ＆ English）
