The Japan FP＆A Supervisor position is responsible for financial planning and analysis as part of the worldwide planning cycles as well as internal profitability and ad hoc financial analysis. Candidates for this position will be expected to have a professional attitude, excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of Accounting/Finance, and to display the potential for further promotion within Japan’s Finance organization.
・Control over the daily process for FP＆A with 8 staffs to ensure that effective internal controls are maintained throughout the activities of FP＆A group.
・Prepare, track and maintain ownership of the P＆L model for ADD Com Ops for Plan, Update and LBE’s and for MPG for Actuals and prepare monthly flash P＆L and P＆L reporting requirements by DHQ with timely submission.
・Control Sales Planning and forecast for ADD.
・Prepare and track Plan and Update schedules for management review, including rollforward.
・Investigate and consolidate areas of risk and opportunity in P＆L actuals and communicate monthly to Manager.
・Participate in projects that have a material financial impact on Japan business The position is expected to work closely with the Japan operations groups, such as sales, marketing, customer service, distribution, to understand the strategies, tactics and processes and their impact on key financial indicators.
【必須（MUST）】Bachelors degree, a CPA is preferred.
・5－7 years of experience in Finance/Accounting/FP＆A, Tax, Treasury, and/or Audit in multi－national companies including Japan.
・Demonstrated experience and understanding of accounting, planning ＆ analysis, internal control processes and practices, and their contribution to the operational integrity of a corporate finance environment.
・Good interpersonal skills.
・Strong PC skills （Microsoft Office suite）, preferably with ERP application experience.
・Good communication skills.
・Fluency in Japanese and English.
