<Business Overview / Position Objective>
・Relationship Manager is the main point of contact for our multinational corporate clients, and is responsible for working in close cooperation with Parent/Regional Account Managers, Product Partners, Risk, Legal, Ops, Compliance etc. to deliver the best bank's experience and the optimum products and solutions to the client.
・Required to have a deep understanding of a client’s business, industry and banking requirements in order to offer the appropriate set of products and solutions that are in the client’s best interest whilst also optimizing and maximizing the bank's returns.
・Managing a defined portfolio of clients with full responsibility for revenues and maintaining a pristine risk and control environment.
・Required to continuously explore additional business opportunities with both existing clients and with a defined set of target market prospects.
・Maintain and develop business relationship and increase revenue from existing clients.
・Ensure a high level of client satisfaction with the bank’s products, solutions and services.
・Develop new client relationships and broaden existing client relationships.
・Carefully maintain a pristine risk and control environment, including all compliance, risk and regulatory responsibilities such as Know Your Customer due diligence, Extending Unit Due Diligence, Asset Self－Assessment etc.
・Maintain close contact with Parent and Regional Account Managers in order to ensure we are delivering the bank's global network in an aligned and coordinated manner
・Support Product Partners in originating cross－sell opportunities and be inclusive in delivering the best client experience.
・Corporate Banking experience with a solid understanding of key cash management, trade, foreign exchange, capital markets and lending products.
・Excellent communication, negotiation and selling skills with the ability to manage multiple personality types, defuse sensitive, tense clients, coordinate multiple internal stakeholders
・Self－starter, motivator with strong sense of ownership and commitment to problem solving. Need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player able to work well with others.
・Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively and efficiently.
・Confident financial analysis, accounting and risk management knowledge required
・Strong verbal and written English and Japanese communication skills
・Comfortable working PC skills: （Word, Excel, PowerPoint）
・JSDA（Class II, Class I） preferable, or should pass exams after joining the team.
Bachelor’s/University degree required, Master’s degree preferred
