We are looking for Program Manager to be responsible for organizing multiple programs and activities for our organization. You will be tasked with Application Managed Services as well as Application developing programs to support the organization's strategic clients in either BFSI （Banking/Finance/Securities/Insurance） domain or Non－BFSI （Automotive, Healthcare, etc.）, as well as creating and managing long term goals. You will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals. The position reports into the Country Delivery Head.
Roles ＆ Responsibilities
Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
Managing 4－5 projects, including 15－20 members in each project
Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Creating and managing long－term goals.
Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
Analyzing program risks.
Working on strategy with the marketing team.
Should have good networking with local Agencies/partners in order to ramp up teams based on the skills desired for an engagement.
Have strong experience in managing onsite offshore teams
Should have at least 15－20 years of overall IT experience and 5－10 years of experience in program management role
Must have lead variety of projects including Upgrade, Application Development ＆ Maintenance
Should have worked in close communication with Clients and other stakeholders
Good understanding of project P＆L and financials concepts
Ability to work under pressure, be flexible in approach and foster team work
Build trust and rapport with key stakeholders and facilitate weekly, monthly ＆ steering committees discussions as required.
Should be able to review project estimates, detailed work plans, schedules, and resource plans
Understands the software quality system/procedures to insure compliance
Manage customer expectation and escalations
Should have worked in an onsite－offshore delivery model.
Experience working with global customers is a plus
Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English and Japanese
Native Level Japanese skill
Deep understanding of Japanese business culture
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
