・ Lead and manage a Claims Operations Department to maintain operational standards and consistency focusing on customer service, compliance and operational efficiency.
・ Continually assess, plan and improve the Claims operations via process improvement and more significant transformation activities
・ Ensure the successful claims service delivery through operational and system improvement
・ Promote claims service activities based on the goals of the department and company and the global organization.
【 Key Tasks】
・ Oversee and manage a team responsible for of operational, system, reporting and compliance functions relevant to an insurance claims department
・ Lead transformation projects currently under way
・ Identify and support operational efficiency opportunities. Develop, plan, and implement new solutions related to systems and process improvements and as necessary, develop project business cases, funding approval, execute and deliver solutions
・ Effective communication amongst team members, stakeholders and other key staff
・ Ensure all required management, market and compliance reporting is successful and delivered in a timely manner
・ Review and define system development requirements
・ Support Division Manager in terms of headcount planning, expense and UCE budgeting and management.
・ Responsible for building, reviewing and maintaining BCP of Claims Division
・ Identify and train next－generation leaders.
・ Minimum of 10 years in Senior Operational Management roles
・ Knowledge of Insurance Claims and Operational Excellence
・ Transformation and change management skill sets
・ Project Management experience
・ Team leadership
・ Fluent in Japanese and English
・ Expert knowledge in claims service operations with 10 or more years in senior management positions
・ Experience in leading transformation and kaizen－based projects
・ Excellent presentation skills including written and verbal communication
・ Knowledge of Compliance, Quality Assurance, Vendor Management and claims systems
・ Understanding of the business of an insurance company.
