【PURPOSE OF THE ROLE】
Lead and manage people management related agenda for the Business Unit/ ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN, collaborate with management on people agenda to achieve their business objectives while creating workplace where employees feel engaged and committed.
Also play a critical role in developing and executing the people related transformational agenda in Japan working closely with Head of Japan HR as well as head of Japan Region Head and Function leaders in Japan.
・Be responsible for planning and executing a full spectrum of HR activities including Recruiting, Compensation ＆ Benefits, Training and Development, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Labor Management, Internal Communication, and manage measure HR KPIs according to Global and Japan Region specific processes.
・Develop strategies for people management, succession plan, and talent management for key managerial positions.
・Monitor progress of HR KPIs set in accordance with Global HR Functional KPIs and make timely report to BU management.
・Provide the updated Marelli standard performance management guidance to managers for transparent and efficient evaluation and appraisal.
・Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
・Work closely with management, global HRBP and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and improve productivity and retention.
・Propose new or modified HR related policies and programs to Center of Expertise team based on business needs of the BU Functions.
・Provide any kind of HR related support upon request by managers in EPT Japan or considering situation in the BU.
EDUCATION （SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION）: University degree or similar
LANGUAGES: Japanese fluent, English fluent/business level, additional language is preferred
・Minimum of 10 years of total experiences in the business and at least 5 of which should be in a human resources management role.
・Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles and practice of HR including employment law and compliance requirements.
・Work experience under multi－national environment that constitutes teams or stakeholders of people from multiple nationality and cultural background.
・Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including patience and persistence in approach to developing relationships.
・Willingness to take a lead in a complex people related problems and proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex difficult issues.
・Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time and to operate under tight deadlines.
