【Purpose of the job】
Act as the focal point between the Off－trade team and third－party merchandisers.
The Merchandising Manager is responsible for defining the vendor allocation, POC mapping strategy, POC prioritization, and KPI setting, tracking and monitoring.
The person is the touch point for teaching, coaching, and supporting third－party merchandisers to ensure perfect execution of the business plan initiatives in our key account customers to better exhibit our brand messages and strengthen the positioning of our portfolio as Premium Brands.
• Full responsible for POC execution in terms of basic/ winning execution including distribution, share of shelf, OOS management ＆ implementing ”picture of success” in nationwide
• Teach, coach, and support filed merchandisers to empower them perform perfect executions
• Monitor the industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to stay up－to－date with the effective execution methods
• Improve the visibility of the activity and optimize the deployment
• Prepare and present regular reports on execution activities to keep the performance level the highest
• Analyze sales data to continue offering the creative solutions
• Manage 40＋ field merchandizers （as of 2021） to cover key accounts throughout Japan

【Qualifications and Experience】
• 3－5 years of experience in Off Trade Sales, Field Management or in a relevant field
• Full knowledge on off－trade sales processes in terms of daily/ weekly/ monthly sales routines
• Relevant data collection from OFF KAM, Merchandisers and market
• Data analysis
• Strategy development
• People management skills with good communication capability with substantial experience in sales ＆ sales related experiences
• Negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
