Title: Planning Manager
Client management and planning lead for a technology client, covering Japan market
Overview of job
Supporting the Client Lead, this role is critical in the success of the client relationship, ensuring the agency exceeds client’s expectations through the delivery of timely, solid and innovative media plans for Commercial/ Field Marketing business in Japan. The role also oversees the execution and delivery of plans by internal and external operational teams.
You will be working to understand what drives the client’s business, both consumer and enterprise level B2B, as well as the barriers to success, in order to identify and develop solutions across communication planning, infrastructure, data and analytics.

Responsibilities of the role:
Partner with the Client Management team to ensure that our agency has the right people, tools and structure to deliver quantifiable business benefit. Support client and your own team in the development of key audience/market insights, global comms strategy and implementation excellence.
Creating and sustaining great client relationships and excellent delivery
Partner with the local Client to develop annual plans that deliver against key priorities
Partner with our Regional Lead to manage contracts, SOW, reviews and new solutions
Lead strategy and planning for:
Engagement campaigns （content syndication）
Lead Generation campaigns
Manage your team and internal partners （Digital, Trading, Search） to ensure deliveries exceed client expectations.
Lead and assist more junior members of the strategy team to ensure their development.
就業時間：フレックスタイム制 （標準勤務時間 9:30～17:30 休憩1時間含む、コアタイム11:00－15:00）
【必須（MUST）】What you will need:
5＋ years of relevant experience with client relationship management, media strategy and planning, and/or technology/ B2B focused clients
Bilingual preferred; Japanese and English; with fluency in one language and basic/business communication in the other.
Proactive, strategic and professional viewpoints exchange and engagement with the senior clients
Experience developing communication strategy, in either a marketing, media, or brand environment and coordinating plans across teams/agencies/client org
Proven initiative and commitment to develop new solutions and opportunities for internal and external partners.
Strong leadership to work collaboratively in a strategic and productive way towards clear common goals to bring pre－aligned tangible achievements.
Chemistry match with a good interpersonal relationship with the key senior clients to make the partnership work.
