【MAIN JOB PURPOSE】
To provide a professional and transparent procurement and programme management service to clients, through the effective disbursement of funds by purchasing of the right goods to target timescales at the best possible price.
【MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB】
To purchase goods in compliance with parent company's procedures and standards of ethical procurement, donor guidelines and end user requirements, through;
・Clarify specifications with client/technical specialists where necessary
・Identify sources to meet specification
・Maintain supplier database, appraise supplier performance and identify new sources
・Prepare and issue tender documents using appropriate template
・Evaluate tenders taking into consideration relevant criteria and ability to comply with our terms and conditions
・Make recommendation and confirm order with the client
・Negotiate post tender cost reductions with suppliers where appropriate
・Prepare contract order.
・Liaise with supplier/shipping/Inspection as necessary to ensure timely delivery/installation including customs clearance.
・Resolve post contract issue
・Assist in the application of the key concepts of Project Management within the PMI Methodology

・Maintain an on－going relationship with the client, keeping client informed, responding to needs and developing solutions.

・Preparation of project proposals: management of bidding process; associate and consultant selection; technical writing; commercial proposal and authorisation

・Experience : Typically 1－3 years’ previous procurement management experience
