The primary role of the Service Technician is to troubleshoot, repair, and service HVAC and related equipment in the Data Centers. This is a temporary full time position reporting to our Country Manager. There is potential for advancement to a permanent full time position as Mechanical Support Manager as site scales.
Diagnose and Repair Commercial HVAC Equipment. Including communicating with customer, service manager, documenting work in our systems, and presenting finished paperwork to customer.
Support ongoing unit installations of mission critical cooling, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance
Perform contracted preventive maintenance using electronic checklists for tasking and equipment. Document deficiencies. Present findings and recommendations for repair or replacement to customers.
Upkeep complex mission critical cooling at a mission critical site in this proximity
Support emergency service requests after hours with commensurate bonus payments
Help with specifying and bidding jobs to replace equipment, and offer guidance to replacement team on those jobs. Conduct the startup and train customers on the new equipment.
Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, verbal, and written communication. Interact with customer by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call. Explain technical information to technical and non－technical audience.
Wear personal protective equipment when completing service tasks. Complete jobsite hazard assessment prior to initiating service. Adhere to XXXXX and customer safety policies.
Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, product quality report, and articles as required.
Basic data entry and ability to navigate the use of email, internet, word processing programs.

【必須（MUST）】Japanese business level
【歓迎（WANT）】10 years of practical HVAC experience
Holds Japan certificate for refrigeration
Holds Japan welding certificates or training from recognized Institutions in high pressure welding or equivalent
Specific Experience with Scroll Compressors and R410A Refrigerant or similar experience in Data Centers
Commercial or industrial HVAC Service Technician experience
Working knowledge of digital controls （Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, Vertiv）
Working knowledge of modern communication networks （Switch, Router, IP systems）
Working knowledge of BACNET, Modbus protocols
Working knowledge of preventative maintenance and refrigeration maintenance legal requirements
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
Ability to listen and respond effectively to customers
Ability to work effectively as a team player with staff personnel
Maintain confidentiality of all company information, business units and personnel
