We are looking for a smart, motivated Contract Manager to support teams working on our rapidly growing Devices business. Your responsibilities will include conducting marketing and promotion reviews; supporting new product and device launches; documenting a variety of third party contractual relationships, including marketing agreements, trademark license agreements, service agreements, work orders and NDAs; preparing and tracking regulatory submissions to the authorities; and responding to escalated customer contacts.
This Contract Manager will be an integral part of the legal team and will need to be comfortable providing advice to business partners both on legal and business issues. This Contract Manager will also work closely with US and other international legal and business teams who support Devices business worldwide.
The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. The successful candidate will be client－service oriented, and be able to manage multiple projects at once while also paying great attention to detail on tight deadlines. The successful candidate will also be able to prioritize appropriately and easily switch gears without sacrificing quality of work, maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, and have the ability to work well with people at all levels.

－ 5＋ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department, with responsibility for reviewing, drafting and negotiating standard commercial contracts.
－ Strong oral and written communication skills － Business level English and Japanese.
－ In－house legal experience, especially at technology companies, is a plus.
－ Experience handling regulatory or compliance matters is a plus.
－ Strong analytical and computer skills.
