Head of site Hofu leads and overseas the management of manufacturing at the Hofu site to produce products on schedule while meeting the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost objectives. This role also leads development of site strategy in line with global/region/country manufacturing/business strategy. This role assures people development to enrich talents in the organization as well as to engage them for best－in－class operations.
The primary responsibilities （Key tasks/scope）:
■Ensure products are manufactured, with respect to volume, time and sales expectations by directing and managing teams at the Hofu site
■Manage Hofu site within the parameters of the yearly expense and capital Opex budget as agreed with global/region of Bayer Crop Science（BCS） Product Supply organization.
■Lead to have safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all BCS key requirements, local regulations and overseeing a suitable training system for all staff on site.
■Overseas and implement technical good practices and define technical standards for the site to enable best practices at the site.
■Leading and supporting execution of investment, maintenance management and process technology improvement projects against agreed indicators and benchmarks and communicating appropriate project progress information.
■Ensure follow－up to audits and incidents to promote quality and safety at the site as well as 3rd party suppliers
■Provide effective leadership including developing and implementing objectives and business strategies; select key personnel and motive members; challenge employees to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor; assist with Performance Calibration/Talent Pool Management/Succession Planning; individual goal setting/performance reviews; training and development; support workforce diversity, quality and safety and support supervisors/managers in the management of their employees/department which support achievement of individual/department/business objectives.

■Good experience and high expertise in people management and leadership; high level of intercultural and partnering skills
■Someone who is able to talk to people from many levels within the organization , very strong communicator
