The Field/Product Application Engineer is part of the Sales & Marketing department, and work closely with the Business Lines, Sales and Marketing team. This role supports the account sales team and customer base by providing application engineering support, demand creation, product value propositions and training. This individual drives all necessary technical support actions to secure demand creation at automotive equipment customers, on a wide Standard Product portfolio, consisting of small Signal Discretes (including ESD/EMI filtering), Logic and Power MOSFETs. ■KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ・Accountable for design-ins and design-wins with our customers ・Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demonstrations, demos, reference boards and application manuals ・Provide technical product training for customers, partners and S&M colleagues ・Pro-actively communicate product features and benefits ・Stay informed & share information about competitive products and technologies ・Develop application knowledge and communicate feedback and insights in customers future needs ・Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demonstrations, and product value proposition deployment ・Synthesizes customer, product positioning and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps ・Manage project design in campaigns to ensure early involvement in the customer’s technology roadmap and continuous and timely flow of information to all necessary parties within the BG and customer ・Qualify design opportunities and establishing value proposition/position relative to the competition ・Promote the product value (strengths versus competitive products) and quantifies the technical benefits derived from choosing Nexperia ・Oversees and responsible for all design win objectives and design funnel management ・Successfully builds relationships with sales, business groups, customers (engineering and management) in support of sales team objectives ・Interface with the BGs on new product development ・Assists in educating Field Sales Engineers on new technologies, new product features and their related business value 【職務概要】 フィールドアプリケーションエンジニアは、セールス＆マーケティング部門の一員として、ビジネスラインやセールス＆マーケティングチームと密接に連携する業務をお任せします。 本ポジションでは、アプリケーションエンジニアリングサポート、デマンドクリエイション、製品価値提案やトレーニングを提供しながら、アカウントセールスチームと共に顧客ベースを支えていただきます。 また、小信号ディスクリート（ESD/EMIフィルタリングを含む）、アナログ＆ロジックICやパワーMOSFETなどで構成される幅広い標準製品ポートフォリオにおいて、車載顧客のニーズ創出に必要な、あらゆる技術サポートを担っていただきます。 【業務内容】 - 顧客とのデザインインとデザインウィンを担当する。 - 技術的な製品プレゼンテーション・デモンストレーション・リファレンスボード・アプリケーションマニュアル・製品価値の提案に必要な顧客訪問を行う。 - 顧客・販売代理店などのパートナー・セールス＆マーケティングチームに技術的な製品説明を行う。 - 製品の特徴や利点を積極的に伝える。 - 競合製品や技術に関する情報を常に入手し、社内共有する。 - アプリケーションの知識を深め、将来的な顧客のニーズに関するフィードバックや分析内容を伝える。 - 製品定義とロードマップを改善するため、顧客・製品ポジショニング・競合他社に関する知見を分析する。 - 顧客の技術ロードマップに早期段階で介入しながら、BGおよび顧客内すべての主要関係者に対するタイムリーな情報提供を行い、デザインインまでのプロジェクトを管理する。 - 設計機会を見出し、競合製品に対抗できる価値提案や製品ポジションを作り上げる。 - 製品価値（競合製品に対抗できる強み）を裏付け、当社製品によって得られる技術的メリットを定量化する。 - デザインウィンにおける目標と案件管理を行う。 - 営業チームの目標達成をサポートするため、営業・ビジネスグループ・顧客（エンジニア、経営陣）と良好な関係を構築する。 - 新製品開発においてBGと連携する。 |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ■JOB SPECIFICATIONS:・Education/ studies: BSEE. MSEE preferred. ・Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive design ・Technical experience related to power applications: Electrification, ECUs, BCMs and/or power supplies/management ・Strong communication and presentation skills to drive communication ・Good communication in English and Japanese. 【資格・スキル】 ・電気工学学士号を取得した方。(修士号取得者であれば尚良) ・5年以上の車載機器関連の設計経験がある方。 ・電動化、ECU、BCMおよび/または電源回路のパワーアプリケーションに関する技術経験がある方。 ・コミュニケーション能力や、プレゼンテーション能力がある方。 ・英語と日本語でのコミュニケーションが可能な方。 |
