仕事内容 This is a newly created position.

They would like to hire someone who has the potential to become Country Manager of the companies' Japan operation in the future as the current Country Manager will retire soon.

The Business Development Director will report directly to the VP of Electric Vehicle Group in California. This position will lead the growth and development of all EV business in Japan. In this position, you will be asked to strategically analyze opportunities in the Electric Vehicle (HEV / EV / PEV) sector. You will develop a strategy and plan - then execute the plan toward further developing the business.

-Developing project quotations, negotiating contracts and closing business
-Working with program managers to make sure customer requirements are satisfied
-Working with operations to ensure delivery times and standards are complied with
-Generating revenue growth & profitability
-Managing all relationships with customers
-Interfacing with internal contacts
-Forecasting all projects and potentials
-Working with management to develop business strategy and plans
-Investigating and assessing competition
