仕事内容 The Field System Engineer is a highly technical professional possessing in-depth knowledge of the storage industry as well as specialized knowledge of UNIX and NT file systems. The Field System Engineer must demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the DAS, NAS and SAN product spaces. The FSE is a partner in the sales process, participates in the creation of sales strategy and tactics and takes ownership of technical responsibilities within customer accounts. This includes presentations, account management, assisting customers with evaluations and benchmarks, system configurations, and system installations. Post-sales support is typically handled through the Customer Service organization; however, the FSE may be called upon to provide on-site problem resolution as necessary. Field System Engineers may also be called on to assist with trade shows.
